BIOMECHANIXPrivacy Policy
This policy covers the apps made by Biomechanix Inc.: MoveMentor Fitness, MoveMentor Physio and Sameeksha. The first section applies to all three. The sections after it explain what each app does differently.
The short version
- Your camera feed is analyzed on your phone. Live camera frames are never uploaded or stored by us.
- We don't do facial recognition, and we don't create faceprints or other biometric identifiers.
- We don't sell your data, show you ads, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- You can use the apps without an account (guest or offline mode), and you can delete your account at any time.
What applies to all our apps
Account information
If you create an account, we collect your email address and name so we can create and secure it. An account is optional. Without one, your data stays on your device.
Camera, body-pose and face data
The apps use your camera for on-device body-pose estimation. This is a skeletal model of 33 body landmarks. It includes approximate facial keypoints such as the nose and eyes, which are used only to estimate head position and posture. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device and then discarded. We retain no live camera or face data.
Video is stored only when you choose to record a clip, and that clip stays on your device unless you choose to share it. The one exception is described under MoveMentor Physio: clip share links.
On-device AI
AI features such as workout plan generation, exercise classification, form scoring and assessment scoring run on your device. They use our own algorithms and the on-device models provided by your phone's operating system. Your personal data isn't sent to any third-party AI service.
Where your data is stored
Data that syncs to your account is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase. It's protected by access rules that limit each record to you and anyone you have explicitly chosen to share it with. Data is encrypted in transit.
What we don't collect
Location, contacts, advertising identifiers or browsing data. The apps contain no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

MoveMentor Physio
MoveMentor Physio is used by physiotherapists (clinicians) and their patients. The clinician is responsible for the patient information they record, and for having an appropriate basis to record it.

Prescriptions shared by QR code or file go directly from device to device and never pass through our servers. Patients link their accounts to a clinician only by entering a join code that the clinician gives them.
Sameeksha
Sameeksha processes information about your health. We handle it with extra care and use it only to produce your assessment and report.

Video and body landmarks from the movement tests never leave your device. Only the resulting measurements are saved.
Your controls: you can delete a single assessment or all your data in the app. Deleting on your device also deletes the backup copies in your account. You can export everything, including every assessment and its PDF report, as a ZIP file at any time from Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data. This works offline and without an account. You decide who receives a report you share.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in the app from Settings, or without the app through our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes it and all the data linked to it on our servers. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Children
The apps are not directed at children under 13. A child should use Sameeksha only with a parent or caregiver, using caregiver-assisted mode.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and let you know in the app.
